![]() ![]() The first feature we will be seeing is about restoring an accidentally deleted file on Dropbox, and next we will be looking at one will show how we can restore previous versions (revisions) of the file. While working on documents and files, I came across these two cool features of Dropbox that could prove to be very helpful when you mess up your files. As there is not just one computer that I use in college, I carry the "Yes, I understand what a restoration will do, and I give you permission to take this action in my Dropbox account.” Permanent deletionsĭropbox Support won’t be able to recover permanently deleted files, or files that were deleted outside of your account’s version history.So that I can follow up where I left off no matter where I am. Then, copy-and-paste the following statement into the description box so that Dropbox can take action in your account: For example: Dropbox/Photos/Italy/Venice/1001.pdf.The names of any files you’re looking for or want reverted.If you want to undo multiple events or restore specific files, also include: The approximate date the files were affected or went missing.If you can’t find an event that corresponds to your issue, create an email to Dropbox support with File recovery as the issue type. Include as much of the following information as possible.
